How to Be Safe in Natural Disasters

Being safe in environments such as ours is important to live. Likewise, disasters can strike on your local community. Procedures are needed to survive in the harsh conditions of blizzards, hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, and thunderstorms. Here are tips to get on the right track of surviving in the treacherous disasters.

Being in a storm is bad enough to haunt your fears. The lights will black out, and your electricity won’t work anymore. These are the signs to act fast. If you pack an emergency kit with the items you need beforehand, you will be successful. The things you will need are supplies of water, food, and objects such as flashlights, first aid kits, and more. If your car works fine, just pack up and go out of the area of the storm. After a few days, the storm would’ve gone away from the community you live on. As long as you are safe, you will be fine (Remember, always go NORTH-WEST of the community to help increase your chances of getting out of the storm.).

In unpredictable scenarios when there’s an earthquake going on, here are tips to help get away from hurting yourself. First, once you think that something rumbling, get somewhere that has no outside walls with a table. You can go under the table to help protect yourself from falling debris. If you have your emergency kit with you, you can eat, drink, or use your flashlight when the earthquake is finished. If you need to, go out to somewhere the authorities are in, such as the police. They can help you in the situation you’re in. If you have insurance, you may be able to get money after a natural disaster.

The world about safety in harsh conditions on the Earth is hard. As scientists find new ways to be safe when the worst is happening, we shorten deaths in the worst-case scenarios. More than likely are we to have a condition where we need to be one step ahead of the enemy.

Thanks, Sean. Your essays are very good.
